If you are the type of traveler that has an interest in seeing how the new has merged with the old as far as society and culture is concerned, then you may want to consider taking a trip to Mongolia. The strides that have been made by the country of Mongolia since communism fell to open up and reach out to the world are quite significant. The old values, traditions, and ideas still stand in a country that is open to Western ideas and influences. You can pretty much find it all in Mongolia. Hospitality, Buddhist temples, ancient ruins, and nomadic homes are interwoven with bars, cafes, and even herders talking on their cell phones. You see how Mongolia has taken the old and turned it new? This country is very up and coming, and it is one amazing place to visit. If you are planning a trip to Mongolia and need some ideas for where to visit and what to see, then I have a few suggestions for you no matter what you like to do when traveling. -For the adventurer, there are quite a bit of sporting activities and things that you may find to be interesting. You can fish in the large rivers of Mongolia that are home of the Hucho Taimen which just so happens to be the largest salmonidae in the world. Whitewater rafting and canoeing in the Kherlen River will definitely help you to get your kicks, and hiking in the majestic western region of Mongolia is always a good time. -For the food lover, trying the traditional foods of Mongolia is something that you will be very excited about for sure. Khorhog is a variety of meats that are cooked on heated stones, boodog is typically mutton that is cooked in the own skin of the animal, and dumplings and noodles are also common staples in the Mongolian diet traditionally. Now there are still many other internationally influenced restaurants to try in the country as well. -If you are a history lover and intellectual, then you may find the variety of museums in Mongolia to be of much interest. There is the Natural History Museum of Mongolia, the National Museum of Mongolia, and the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum as well. All of the museums are full of history and exhibits that will fill you with knowledge and appreciation of the country of Mongolia.

When packing for a vacation, there are many things that you should consider. This article will show you what those things are and how you can work on your wardrobe with these things in mind.

First, you have to consider the activities that you would want to do during your trip. Are you going skydiving or scuba diving? If you are doing anything of this sort, you should be able to pack up clothing that would fit the occasion. Usually, suits and scuba gear are provided by the resorts themselves. Do your research and check out the equipment that you can have for these activities.

Next, you have to consider the time of the year. More often than not, people would go on island holidays during the summers. Therefore, you should think about your comfort during that time. Wear things that would not make you sweat as much.

With this in thought, consider the material of the clothes that you would wear during the trip. Clothes made of thick material like denim or cotton may not be advisable. Remember that your skin should be able to breathe during the trip.

Keep in mind that less is more when it comes to beachwear. It will also make you more comfortable if you are able to move around without any limitations due to what you are wearing. Accessories are optional.

Another thing that you would have to consider when packing is the foot wear. Flip flops and rubber sandals may be the most suitable footwear that you can have during your island vacation. Make sure that they are durable enough to last for many hours of walking that you would do on vacation.

You should also consider your protection. Do not forget your sun block when packing for island holidays. If you can do this, you will be ready to run around the beach without worrying about skin diseases in the future.

Not all people are lucky enough to have their own vehicle. It is for this reason that there are those who rely on car rentals. If you are also in the hunt for such vehicle services, the following information would surely be of help.

Establish your purpose.
How long do you plan on renting a car? Where are you bringing it? These questions are just some of the many considerations you should clear out. Remember that such queries can serve as your foundation for the search. If you would be on a trip, it would be more advisable to get a car rental company within the area you’re planning to go to.

Scout for the best deals.
There are a lot of car rental companies that you can turn to. The competition would surely work to your advantage as you can get the best discounts and offers. The deal here is to look for the best in terms of service quality and rates.

Review the reputation of the car rental company.
Make use of the Internet as a good source of information about the car rental company that you are eyeing. Read reviews so that you’ll know which companies offer the best in services. This would really give you a good insight.

Going on Bali holidays is a fun and exciting way to spend time with the family or even as a romantic vacation for you and your special someone. In order to ensure you get the most value for your money, choosing the right Bali holiday is important. Here are a few useful tips for booking Bali holidays:

• Search and compare different travel packages.
One of the ways you can ensure you are getting the best deal possible is to search and compare different Bali holiday packages. Find out which ones are included as well as those which do not come in the travel package so that you know exactly what you are getting. You should also find out how much each of the individual items in your travel package cost to see if you are really saving money.

• Consider travelling during the off peak season.
Probably the best way to ensure that you get the lowest rates and deals is to travel before or after the peak season. Most accommodations and flights are lower during this season, and this will help you enjoy the most savings.

• Book your trip ahead of time.
You may have heard this travel tip several times already, but it is a tried and tested way to ensure that you enjoy the most savings. Booking your trip in advance allows you to secure your price and keep you from any price increases when the peak travel season comes in.

Whether you want to have fun and adventure, relax, or enjoy time out with the whole family, there’s always something in Bali for everyone. For bali holidays click here for more information.

There are many places to see in Asia; hence why millions of travellers visit this diverse continent every year. Made up of many interesting countries, Asia offers travellers with all sorts of adventure that they would want to engage in. From backpacking, city travel, food trip, sight-seeing, nature tripping, Asia has it all. It houses the best places in the world — Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Bangkok, Bali, to name a few.

In addition, those looking for cheap plastic surgery operations, also consider travelling in Asia. Unlike the top plastic surgeons in the US, like doctor farahman, getting a breast implant, tummy tuck, plastic surgery eyes or other cosmetic procedures in Asia will save you a bundle. However, you should be careful when choosing the surgeon as well as the hospital where you will be having the procedure done. Be sure that you steer clear of shady individuals who cannot show you proof that they hold a legitimate and real medical license. Some of the places in Asia where many look for cheap but quality cosmetic procedures include India and Thailand.

Asia also offers popular and breathtaking attractions, like the Mt. Everest, Great Wall of China, Tokyo Disneyland, Phuket Beaches, Taj Mahal, and many more. Those who like shopping will definitely love travelling in Asia. Enjoy strolling around the cheap night markets of Hongkong, Korea, and Bangkok. You wouldn’t go home empty handed since you will find a lot of great things in here without spending all your pocket money.

I remember the first keepsake that an aunt got for me when she visited New York. It is a white t-shirt with “I Love New York” emblazoned on it. The shirt’s gone now, but whenever I come across someone else wearing a shirt with the same caption, the good memories I associate with the keepsake and the city will re-surface, thus, brightening up my otherwise drab day.

There are lots of things that any traveler would love about New York. Indeed, it is the busiest metropolis in the world. Nonetheless, New York is definitely worth visiting for the famous attractions found there.

Time is busy in this big city, too, so when the day of your scheduled return trip home arrives, just make sure that you have all the right New York souvenirs to help you remember the memorable experience you had in this wonderful city. You surely would not want to pass the chance of having a memento in the city that never sleeps. You can also give some of the keepsakes that you have bought to your friends and family, just a little something that you can share with them.

The t-shirt with its catchy caption is a nice memorabilia that has attained iconic status. You should get one as a part of your personal collection. A small replica of the Statue of Liberty is a nice token to give your loved ones back home, too. Postcards and posters depicting famous sites in New York are also great items to give to loved ones and friends. Select cards or posters of places where you have been, and then you can regale the folks back home with stories about your adventure in the ‘Big Apple’.

If you are looking for cheap car rentals, you may need to spend some time on the internet looking at and comparing rates. There are many cheap car rental companies on the internet and you can find great deals if you are willing to take the time to compare rates and see what deals are out there.

If you are setting up an entire travel itinerary, some people prefer to book the entire trip on a travel site. However, when buying an enclosed package you don’t always get the best deals when it comes to your car hire. Take the time to compare several different travel sites and see what the best rates and deals are that you can get for your trip you may find you want to book your car hire seperatly.

Car Rental Comparison Sites

Another option to finding cheap car rentals is to look on a car rental comparison site. There are several of these sites available online, the one I like is Car-Rentals.com. These types of site allow you to choose the dates of availability, city and companies for price comparisons. This is an excellent way to be able to check out the prices for all of the major car rental companies and see what deals they are offering. Be sure to check out several different car rental sites to see what the best deal is, since different sites may offer different prices.

National Car Rental Chains

Another resource for finding inexpensive car rentals is to go to the different car rental sites and price compare. You can find car rental websites for Avis, Dollar, Alamo, National and Enterprise, just to name a few. In many cases, you can find excellent weekend, weekday, daily and weekly prices online that are at a much greater savings than if you were to go directly to the car rental agency without an online reservation.

I think, that no matter how many different places you’ve visited, and how worldly you may be, it’s always nice to spend some time elsewhere. Sure, Asia has got lots of interesting places to go and see as does Mongolia, but how about some where totally different. Could there possibly be a place more radically different from Mongolia, then London England? Possibly, but I can’t think of any at the moment. So if your a permanent citizen of Mongolia, why not consider spending some time in London? There are some pretty cool London attractions you may want to check out.

London Towers would be an interesting one to start with. I’m sure you’ve all heard the stories from childrens about London Towers falling town. It has actually come down a number of times, and been rebuilt. You may find this a little unusual, but the London bridge that was built in 1209 actually now resides in Lake Havasu Arizona. The British had decided to sell it because a new and bigger one was needed. It was taken apart stone by stone, and shipped to Lake Havasu where it was carefully put back together as a bit of a tourist attraction. It actually looks pretty good there. So, I guess if your not able to get to the real London Towers, for the time being you could actually visit the one at Lake Havasu.

I know wishing rocks are not a unique custom to Mongolia, but it was the first place I had heard about it. Since doing a bit of research on wishing rocks, I now find them in places all over the world. I’ve seen them in the context of getting married, of good luck while travelling, and of any assortment of things that people can wish for. Health, wealth and happiness certainly have to be the top three. But, I really liked this photo of wishing rocks piled up in the barren landscape of Mongolia. It sure seems, like people there have a lot to wish for.

I guess, that given the particular location, I can see why. Unless there are a few more things around this photo then what you see here, I’d probably be wishing for a way out of there. But, I doubt that would work. I really like the idea of wishing rocks far better then the old concept of a wishing well. Wishing wells say nothing about the people that have come before. I like that you can here you get a pretty good idea of how many wishes were cast before you got here. Of course, there’s no idea of telling how many of the wishes came true. The hopeful optimist in me wants to believe they all did.

Then again, this could just be an elaborate scheme on the part of the land owner to put the tourists to work collecting all the big rocks from his land and putting them in a big pile. He probably comes along once every month or so, collects all the rocks and sells them to some landscape designer. Although I’m not to sure there are many landscape designers in Mongolia. At least not very many good ones, judging by the vista in this photo. Ahhhh, I’m just kidding, this looks to me like a really cool tourist attractions. Although, I can’t figure out why Trident would like his scepter here?
